MOOVI MAKES HISTORY IN MARBELLA WITH LANDMARK ELECTRIC CLASS VICTORY

Marbella, Spain — September 2026 — History was made at the UIM MotoSurf World Championship in Marbella, Spain, where Chinese electric surfboard manufacturer Moovi celebrated a landmark victory in the Electric category.

Representing Macau, NG Chio Hong delivered a winning performance on a Moovi electric surfboard to claim first placein the Electric category. His victory marks a historic milestone as the first-ever Electric class victory for a rider from Macau, while also securing a landmark championship victory for Chinese manufacturer Moovi.

The success was made even more significant by the performance of NG Chio Hong’s teammate, Leong Lat Hang, who also competed on a Moovi board and finished second, giving Moovi a remarkable one-two finish in the Electric category.

The podium was completed by Michal Uhlár, riding a Jetsurf, who secured third place. Tibor Abrahám of Hungary crossed the finish line in fourth.

Among the notable names was Michal Skoček, a recent Electric class champion, who made a much-anticipated comeback to competition. Despite successfully making his return to the racing scene, Skoček ultimately did not take part in the final race.

His absence opened the door for a new chapter in the Electric category — one that was ultimately written by NG Chio Hong and Moovi.
