For each country, one man and one women can compete in a pair. In case of two pairs formed by the organizing federation, maximum three pairs are accepted. The pair competes as a nation and both riders are collecting points as for the nation.

Both riders of each nation can enter the race course according to division into groups. In the free practices, men and women racers can practice simoutaneously.

Nation Lap time = fastest lap time of man + fastest lap time of women
The qualifying practice is held the same way as the individual competition, but both riders contribute to the lap time of the nation. Man has two laps for qualifying and Woman has two laps for qualifying right after her compatriot finishes the qualifying run. Sum of the faster laptime forms the Nation Lap Time.

5 laps are conducted by the man, 5 laps are conducted by the woman. Both have to go to the joker buoy once to form 2 joker runs in total.
After 5th lap (from leader standpoint), pit entry and rider changing will be singalized. The riders will change on the shore. Men begin their ride and after 5 lap, they come back to the shore, bring the board on the stand and once it is on the stand, the women can take her board from the stand, bring it to the water and start her run.
If the board is not given on the stand correctly and the run is begun earlier, the penalty imposed shall be laptime of 1 lap. (time shall be announced on the briefing).
