The vibrant waters of Macau hosted a spectacular finale to the 2025 MotoSurf season, delivering unexpected twists, historic victories, and world-class performances across all categories. Fans on site and online witnessed a weekend packed with speed, precision, and high-stakes championship battles.
One of the biggest stories of the season came from the Stock Class, where Antony Squire made history by becoming the first American ever to claim a MotoSurf world title. Squire dominated the category throughout the weekend and sealed his championship with a confident performance in Macau.
In the Elite Class, Czech rider Matyáš Novotný successfully defended his world title, confirming his position as one of the most consistent and technically skilled riders on the global scene.
The Women’s Class delivered an intense championship showdown. Eliška Matoušková emerged victorious, securing the world title after outperforming rival Aneta Stloukalová in their decisive battle.
A true miracle unfolded in the Merlin Plus Stock R Class when Cypriot rider Mike Michaelides converted what had been only a theoretical chance at the championship into a sensational overall victory. Michaelides captured the title after his main competitor, Fares Ramadhan of Kuwait, suffered an unfortunate setback in Macau, turning the standings dramatically in Michaelides’ favor.
In the Masters Category, South Korean rider Down Kim claimed the championship crown. Poland’s Arkadiusz Janoradelivered a strong performance to take second place in Macau, while Petr Pozdník secured the third step on the podium.
The next generation also shone brightly. In the Junior Class, Czech talent Matyáš Barvík celebrated his championship win, while in the Junior Girls Category, Ellen Burdová clinched the title after a season of impressive performances.
