MotoSurf World Championship returns to Czech Republic
Hostivař Reservoir to Welcome the World’s Best Riders as Prague Hosts the UIM MotoSurf World Championship
Hostivař Reservoir will become the venue for one of the world’s premier powerboating events this year. On 24th – 26th July, Prague will host a round of the UIM MotoSurf World Championship, bringing together the world’s top MotoSurf athletes to compete in one of the fastest-growing disciplines in water motorsport.
Hosting a round of the World Championship further strengthens the Czech Republic’s position as an important destination for international motorsport and watersport events. Spectators can look forward to thrilling racing featuring high-performance motorized surfboards capable of impressive speeds and spectacular maneuverability.
Competitors from Europe, Asia, North America and South America will travel to Prague to battle for valuable championship points. The event will feature several competition classes, ranging from junior categories to the elite professional divisions.
Hostivař Reservoir offers ideal conditions not only for world-class racing but also for spectators. Fans will enjoy excellent views of the entire racecourse, accompanied by a full-day entertainment programme, partner exhibition area, food and beverage facilities, and opportunities to meet some of the world’s leading MotoSurf riders.

MotoSurf has become one of the fastest-growing disciplines in powerboating, combining cutting-edge technology, exceptional athletic performance and an exciting race format that continues to attract competitors and spectators from around the world.
The organizers expect several dozen riders representing more than twenty countries, along with hundreds to thousands of visitors throughout the race weekend.
The event is financially supported by the Czech National Sports Agency under its Major Sporting Events Support Programme. This support contributes to the development of international sport in the Czech Republic and promotes the country as a host of prestigious international sporting events.
