MotoSurf WorldCup breaks records in Croatia

UIM MotoSurf WorldCup concluded the first day of action in Zadar, Croatia. At the beautiful Falkensteiner facility, 98 riders from 12 countries all over the world broke record in attendance at the world’s ultimate motorized surfboards championship.

The qualifyings saw riders fighting the for the best lap times in order to get the best position on the starting grid. In the Open class, Nikolas Blaha set the fastest lap time what keeps the Czech rider in the Championship title battle having an advantage over his main rival Lukas Zahorsky who failed to complete a flying lap in the session. Home rider Dejan Svirać finished 10th.

Stock Class Master Marek Skamla from Slovakia remains on the top of the time sheets after the qualifying. The Women Class saw the championship leader Aneta Šacherová victorious from Klara Sitarova, Aneta Stloukalova and Anya Colley – placed 4th–  from Great Britain. USA representative Alaia Flores marked a strong debut qualifying with respectable 7thplace. Arantxa Flores from Mexico made an impressive start to the weekend in 11th.

The Juniors class was dominated by Eliska Matouskova representing the MP Sports Team followed by Linda Lukscheider and Oliver Navara. The Merlin Plus Rookies Class saw a great show with Alex Lukscheider on top from Denis Burda and Matyas Novotny. In Electric Challenge – the fully electric powered – discipline, Michal Skocek claimed his favorite role and stopped the clock on the fastest lap time of the day.
