RODI GARGANICO TO WELCOME MOTOSURF WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP

From Cancún, Mexico, the UIM MotoSurf World Championship returns Europe. The third round of the championship arrives to magnificent Italian Region of Puglia where the port of Rodi Garganico will host the first ever MotoSurf World Championship on Italian soil during the weekend of 9th – 11th September.

MotoSurf World Championship is about to kick off its third round of the season that comes back to Europe. The series will bring the fastest riders from all around the world to fight for more points in the World Tour before it culminates in Croatia and Kuwait. The weekend will be filled with three racing days – beginning on Friday with Free Practices and Qualifyings, Heats on Saturday and big Finals on Sunday’s programe. The weekend promises great racing action in several categories.

In the Open class, Czech rider Jakub Kornfeil – former MotoGP racers – leads the way from the four times World Champion Lukas Zahorsky for a phenomenal battle between these two coming up in Rodi Garganico.

The Stock Class – category with no allowed modifications – promises unexpectable battles between Down Kim from South Korea who leads the Championship after maiden victory in Cancún. Ayrton Eboli from Mexico is currently 2ndand hopes for another podium strike in Italy. Winner of the season opener – Kuwaiti Hasan Boabbas – is currently third just eleven points from Kim and five from Eboli.

MotoSurf is also well known for racing of beautiful women, which is the Class led by multiple Champion Aneta Šacherová from the Czech Republic followed by two compatriots – Aneta Stloukalová and Eliška Matoušková. Anya Colley from Great Britain has been still waiting for her podium turn this season in 4th overally.

In the racing schedule, the spectators will have a chance to witness young talents in Stock R and Junior Class – classes full of battles and very fast racing.
