Europe’s MotoSurf Elite Set to Battle for the European Title in Manfredonia

Manfredonia, Puglia, Italy – 2–4 October 2026 — The best MotoSurf riders from across Europe will gather in Manfredonia, Regione Puglia, Italy, from 2 to 4 October, for the UIM MotoSurf European Championship.

The three-day championship event will bring together leading riders from across Europe for a weekend of high-speed racing, technical skill and intense competition on the waters of the Adriatic Sea.

Among the riders expected to take part will be some of the leading names from the current MotoSurf World Championship. In the Elite Men category, the starting field will include Matyáš Novotný, the current leader of the MotoSurf World Championship standings. His participation adds further anticipation to an already competitive European Championship field.

The Women’s category will also feature one of the sport’s leading competitors, Sára Žuborová, who currently leads the Women’s standings in the MotoSurf World Championship. Žuborová will arrive in Manfredonia following a successful 2025 season, during which she claimed a bronze medal at The World Games 2025.

With riders representing countries from across Europe, the championship in Manfredonia will provide an opportunity for established MotoSurf competitors as well as emerging talents to compete for European honours.

MotoSurf combines the speed and agility of a motorised surfboard with the technical demands of circuit racing. Riders compete head-to-head on a specially designed course, where acceleration, cornering, strategy and consistency can make the difference between victory and defeat.

The event in Manfredonia is being held with the support of the Federazione Italiana Motonautica (FIM), Regione Puglia and Marina del Gargano, with organisational assistance from the Surfboom club.

The championship will also showcase Manfredonia and the Puglia region as a destination capable of hosting international sporting events while bringing together athletes, teams and fans from across Europe.
