Fujairah confirmed as the World Games 2025 qualification race venue

Fujairah International Marine Club and MSWC announced the Emirate of Fujairah as the host of the 2025 World Games MotoSurf qualification race venue. MotoSurf is the only motorized discipline on the program of the World Games and the final qualification phase will culminate on 21st – 23rd February on the Fujairah Corniche where the entire world’s MotoSurf racing field will compete for 24 slots in Men and 24 slots in Women category. 

The qualification event will include also a test of the Nations Cup competition featured on the program of the Games held on fully electric powered surfboards. The best athletes from each country will form a national team made of one male and female athlete to chase the gold medal for the country they represent. Major Ahmed Alblooshi, Fujairah International Marine Club CEO added:

“We’ve had a very successful cooperation with MotoSurf World Championship and we feel proud the World Games 2025 qualification event will be organized here in Fujairah. We are home for several powerboating disciplines and I am sure this is perfect highlight to all our powerboat activities.”

Martin Jancalek – MSWC CEO and the World Games 2025 Competition Manager for the powerboating sport arrived to Fujairah to join the press conference alongisde the FIMC’s CEO and commented:

“Fujairah has been a fantastic example to the entire powerboating movement for many years. We are proud that this wonderful facility and riders favorite spot will be the host of the World Games qualification event. I cannot wait to see the entire MotoSurf World fighting for their positions in the tournament.”
