https://www.techonicsltd.com/uncategorized/9bwd649r Czech rider Jakub Kornfeil was the most successful of the field in the finals. Last year’s champion proved he would be a man to beat also this season. Scoring a double victory in both of the races, Jakub Kornfeil was crowned the Moto Surf World Cup Mexico 2016 winner. Second position on the podium goes to talented Lukáš Záhorský. Impressive performance secured a solid 3rd for Ivo Strouhal.

Unfortunately, his chance to fight for the top spot with Kornfeil was shattered by a crash in the second race. The crowd could see an amazing battle for the second place. Fifteen years old Lukáš Záhorský against “stylish“ Ivo Strouhal fought hard for their best. Eventually, they finished tied on points but Záhorský was advantaged due to better timed session results. The best of the locals was 5th place finisher Or Yanai whose result is very respectful considering he started the race for the very first time in his motosurfing career.

go to link Cancún brought a lot of race action, crashes and admirable overtaking manoeuvres. Ale Rivas dominated the season opener in the ladies‘ competition. Really brave ride was showed by Czech Aneta Šacherová. After a nasty fall in the qualifying, she managed to gain second place. Second fastest qualifier Andrea de Urquindi completed the podium with the 3rd. Šacherová was not the only one who experienced suffering from pain during the race. Jetsurf founder Martin Šula started into the men’s part with an instep fracture what made his way into the top five basically impossible.
