Martina Bravencová – fastest women qualifier
MotoSurf WorldCup 2017 season opener in Fréjus, France started its action on Friday afternoon and the time schedule offered men’s free practices and of course women class qualifying session.
Brand new formation of SYMBIO+ Jetsurf Team and last year’s podium contender Martina Bravencová #22, that was the winning combination of Friday action. Prague based rider Bravecová stopped the clock around the Frech track on 58,20 and secured her premiere qualifying victory and leading position into heats tomorrow. Reigning champion Aneta Šacherová from MSR Engines Racing Team didn’t stay far behind and her personal best of 58,51 means current 2nd place. Just half of a second behind Šacherová, 101 Riders Team’s Eva Bego crossed the line with 59,04 and closed the top three. All top four riders were able to squeeze their laptimes under one minute which promises a great racing setup. Jetsurf Slovakia rider Renata Kelemenová and 59,73 put likeable Slovakian into 4th. The top five was completed by another Jetsurf Slovakia racer Zdeňka Nyesteová. Big comeback of Mexican star Ale Rivas brought 6th place today. The top rookie rider was Elisabeta Faitová riding under a flag of Jetsurf Factory Team. Elisabeta “ELI“ Faitová posted personal best 01:06,63 and finished 10th fastest.
Motosurfing World Cup will continue tomorrow with men category qualifying and heats that will determine the Final’s riders line-up.
